Bžany is a destination for anyone who wants to combine traces of history with distinctive landscapes. The municipality was first mentioned in writing in 1303. The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Bžany was built in 1760 in the High Baroque style and remains an important landmark of the municipality. Its history extends beyond its construction: in 1834, the chapel was renovated at the expense of Anton Rank, a farmer from House No. 1. The building therefore combines Baroque design with a specific chapter from the village’s history.

Another historical feature is Špýchar č. p. 3. The Baroque agricultural farm complex preserves an enclosed layout with a residential house, granary, barn and farm buildings. At the same time, it is an example of folk architecture from the second half of the 18th century and the early 19th century. Educational Trail, Views and Nature

The Supí vrch educational trail is approximately half a kilometre long and has four information boards. Above Lbín, Supí vrch features a preserved rock-steppe habitat with 22 known endangered species of higher plants. The trail therefore combines a manageable distance with a distinctive natural theme. It ends at a panoramic information board with views of the landscape of the Central Bohemian Uplands around its highest mountain, Milešovka, and of the Bílina valley.

The Bukovická vyhlídka offers a different perspective. It is located in a natural setting near Bukovice and provides a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. It can be reached via local paths and is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. It can serve as the destination for a short walk or as a stopover on longer hiking routes in the municipality’s surroundings. This allows you to choose between a compact outing and a longer hike when planning your trip, without limiting the view to a single means of transport.
