Churches and Chapels with a Clear History

The Church of St Wenceslaus is the oldest historic monument in Lovčičky. It preserves the presbytery area of the original Gothic church from the 15th century. The Church of St Wenceslaus also includes a rectory, chapels, a stone cross and an enclosure. This means the visit can be understood as an examination of a connected historic area, without reducing the individual components to a single building.

At the same time, they are a gathering of locals and people from the surrounding area. The custom therefore combines visible elements of the celebration with an explicitly communal dimension.

The Babské hody are an additional tradition in their own right. They are an established tradition founded by the Lovčičky Women's Association. Together, these events show different forms of local customs, without suggesting that they should be combined into a single festival.

Nature Park Boundary and Cycle Route

The boundary of Ždánický les Nature Park runs through the cadastral area of Lovčičky. This geographic detail complements the cultural themes with a connection to nature, without requiring any further description of the village's location. Cycle route 5094 is also relevant for cycling orientation: it leads from Těšany via Bošovice to Lovčičky (Svatá). The route thus provides a connection that can be regarded as a separate way of discovering the village alongside its buildings and traditions.
