Archlebov – Church, Museum, Wine and Nature Park

Archlebov combines sacred architecture, guided wine tastings, and Ždánický les Nature Park into a diverse destination in Moravia. The Church of Saint Sebastian and Saint Roch is a single-nave hall church with a vaulted ceiling. It stands on the southeastern edge of Archlebov and was built in its present form between 1729 and 1731. The Archlebov Municipal Museum is located directly opposite the church at Archlebov 84. The northern half of Archlebov’s cadastral area lies within Ždánický les Nature Park. The Ochozy natural monument is also located north of Archlebov. It protects rare plant species, including the critically endangered bee orchid and the highly endangered military orchid. Thus, two different spatial references exist side by side: the nature park covers the northern half of the cadastral area, while Ochozy is a separate natural monument located north of Archlebov. The two plants also differ in their levels of threat.

Wine, Regional Products and Further Experiences

SPIELBERG-Degustário in Archlebov offers guided wine tastings in a small group setting for groups of up to 16 people. The limit of no more than 16 people is part of the specific scope of the offering. The Degustário experience includes a specially prepared tasting platter featuring a selection of cheeses from local farms. Alongside the guided tasting, the platter thus adds a specific regional product to the experience.

For a more active activity, the Luža multi-purpose sports and cultural complex is available. It has a sports field with artificial turf for ball games. There are also two chapels in the folk Baroque style in the fields near Archlebov. At the complex, the focus is on ball games on artificial turf, while the chapels are characterized by the folk Baroque style.

A wine trail continues by road to Žarošice. In addition to the guided tasting, this provides a specific continuation of the wine theme toward Žarošice.
