The Údolím Bystřice educational trail runs between the Domašov nad Bystřicí and Hrubá Voda railway stations along the Olomouc–Opava railway line. Railway line 310 from Olomouc to Opava also follows the Bystřice Valley near Domašov nad Bystřicí. The 13.1-kilometre route is open year-round and runs along field and forest paths suitable for walking. Some sections of the educational trail are also suitable for mountain biking. The combination of field and forest paths, together with their partial suitability for mountain bikes, allows you to explore the valley in different ways without turning the educational trail into a purely cycling route. Its stations present the history of the deeply incised valley, as well as the natural values and features of the Bystřice River. Ice Age Formations in Údolí Bystřice Nature Park

Kamenné proudy u Domašova is a natural monument protecting fossil geomorphological features from the last Ice Age. Frost action created frost cliffs, block fields and block streams there. The natural monument lies in Údolí Bystřice Nature Park and complements the educational trail with a landscape topic that clearly differs from the historical stations and the railway line.

Churches and Historic Memorial Sites

St. Anne’s Church in Domašov nad Bystřicí is a single-nave, longitudinally oriented building with a polygonal chancel and hipped roof. On the central axis of the façade stands a prismatic tower with a bulbous roof, finial and cross at the top. The longitudinal orientation of the building, the polygonal chancel and the tower on the façade axis form a clearly structured sequence of architectural forms. The Černý kříž monument offers another connection to history: it was erected in 1858 to mark the centenary of the Prussian–Austrian battle near Domašov. The monument also commemorates the rescue of Olomouc by General Laudon’s troops. In 1758, he defeated Prussian troops as they transported supplies from Opava to Olomouc.

Malý Rabštýn on the Marked Hiking Trail

Malý Rabštýn is an approximately 40-metre-high rock outcrop with 28 secured climbing routes. The rock lies on the blue-marked hiking trail between Domašov nad Bystřicí and Jívová.
