Veletiny amid Búdy, Vineyards and Folk Architecture

The Búdy complex is particularly distinctive: Veletiny preserves the oldest typological form of the Búdy. In 1995, the entire complex was declared a heritage conservation reserve by the Government of the Czech Republic. Remains of the oval fortification of Tvrz Veletiny have survived and were discovered during archaeological investigations. Tvrz Veletiny was built by Záviš (1365–1406), who bore the name Veletka of Veletiny.
