Ponds, Reservoir and Mining History

The water sites also have a history of their own. The Zabrušanské ponds have natural banks and form an ecologically stabilising element of the area. They were created by flooding a remaining pit from lignite mining, using groundwater and water from the Bouřlivec stream. The Všechlapy Reservoir was created in the municipality of Zabrušany near the original Hradiště. Sport fishing is possible at this body of water.
