Kramolín was first mentioned in writing in 1437. A specific testimony to the local architectural and cultural history is the Kaple s pamětním křížem in Kramolín. It stands on the small village green in the centre of the village and is listed as an immovable cultural monument. For travellers who would like to experience smaller historical features alongside sporting activities, this site offers a clearly defined cultural point of reference.

The chapel is also described with unusual architectural precision: it is a brick-built chapel with an octagonal floor plan, a pyramid roof and a small bell turret. At the same time, the Kaple s pamětním křížem is considered a high-quality example of a small rural sacred building dating from around the mid-19th century. The first written mention in 1437 and the architectural dating of the chapel to around the mid-19th century thus mark two historical points of reference for the village. This classification connects the visible architectural features with an art-historical date and makes the chapel more than a building mentioned only in passing.
