An inscription from 1947 names the Štěpánová family from Oprostovice as its donor. The chapel with its bell tower also bears a memorial plaque commemorating the local theologian and writer ThDr. Bohumil Zlámal. ThDr. Bohumil Zlámal, who came from Oprostovice, wrote 190 works on church history.

A wayside shrine stands on the upper edge of Oprostovice. In a glazed display case, it contains a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes; a stone cross is located at the top of its column.
