In the document issued by Bishop Bohuslav ze Zvole, the village appears under the name Nirrenberg. Chapel, Memorial Sites, and Local Memory

The Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is located in the valley of the Libavský potok at the foot of Pekelný vrch, in the Trhavice district of Norberčany. Its location connects a specific religious building with the village’s landscape landmarks. A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands in the southern part of the chapel’s former cemetery. The reference to the former cemetery preserves the historical status of this area.

At the chapel, to the left of the entrance, there is also a metal plaque with porcelain medallions. It displays portraits of local community residents who fell in the First World War.
