Discover Přáslavice: Local History and Cycling Routes

Přáslavice can be discovered through tangible traces of the past and two dated cycling routes. The village is mentioned in written records as far back as 1131; an 18th-century chapel, a stone cross and a bell tower lead through different chapters of the local history. Historical Layers in Přáslavice

Přáslavice is first mentioned in writing in 1131, in a document issued by the Olomouc bishop Jindřich Zdík. This early date provides a firm starting point for the village’s history without reducing it to a single building. The Chapel of St. Roch dates from 1767 and was completely renovated in 1970. Two Cycling Routes, Two Years of Construction

Cycling adds a second perspective to the historical view. The Přáslavice–Velký Újezd cycling route was created in 2009. The Přáslavice–Doloplazy cycling route was created in 2018. The route to Velký Újezd is therefore the older of the two, while the connection to Doloplazy dates from 2018. From Přáslavice, the routes lead to different destinations and provide two specific directions for an active outing.
