A prominent landmark of Svatava is the church with its rectory. In 1908, the residents of Svatava began collecting donations to build the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. A more contemplative site is the memorial to the women's concentration camp. It commemorates a camp that existed in Svatava from 1943 to 1945 as a subcamp of Flossenbürg concentration camp. The foundations of former accommodation buildings are marked on the grounds. The memorial also includes a sculpture of a veiled female body, created in 1963 by Daniela Vodáková-Vinopalová. The marked foundations keep the site's former use present, while the sculpture gives the memorial an artistic dimension.

The natural landscape is defined by Lake Medard. It was created from the reclaimed former Libík–Medard open-pit mine and lies within the cadastral area of Svatava. The lake invites visitors to enjoy active recreation, complementing the cultural and historical attractions with time spent in the landscape. The Svatava River also flows through Svatava. Its meanders, clear water and lush riverside vegetation make it an attraction for tourists.
