Its history dates back to the 19th century: from 1890 onwards, Knight Daubek had a large commercial malt house built in Skuhrov on the site of the former fortress. Historically, malting at the Skuhrov malt house took place continuously from October to March. The former use therefore followed a clear seasonal rhythm from October to March. The transition from a fortress site to a commercial malt house also gives the local history a development over time that extends beyond the individual building.

The chapel on plot No. 29 in the Skuhrov cadastral area is likewise recognised as a cultural value of heritage-protection interest that is not included in the central heritage register.

Places and historical landscape traces

Above Drahlovice, Skalka contains a preserved cave with a stone bed. Bílá skála above Drahlovice is listed as a romantic forest site in the municipality of Skuhrov; the “Na rozhledně” gorge above Drahlovice is designated as a locally interesting site. In the “V roklích” area above the Skuhrov forester’s lodge, stone was historically quarried for millstones and for paving stones in Prague.
