Krašovice – Village by the Pond with Culture and Cycling Route

Krašovice combines a distinctive waterscape with village culture and unusual event ideas. The village lies at the confluence of the Bělá and Brodský streams. The traditional Krašovická jízda přes velký rybník event is particularly memorable. During this event, participants attempt to cross a 125-metre-long bridge over the pond by bicycle; the bridge is only 10–30 cm wide. The competition draws on the defining pond of the village and turns a landscape feature into the centre of a local event.
