Town History and Museums

The Králíky Municipal Museum displays objects documenting the history of the Králicko region. It includes the permanent exhibition Mechanický betlém Antonína Honzáka on Velké náměstí in Králíky, which operates continuously throughout the year. The Králíky Military Museum focuses on a different subject. It presents the history of the Czechoslovak Army from its foundation to the present day and features a military-historical exhibition on the army and national defence, accessible year-round, a demonstration area for heavy equipment and elements of living history.

The Dělostřelecká tvrz Hůrka artillery fortress stands on the northern outskirts of Králíky. It is also known as Berghöhe, Horka, Hofeberg and Výšina. It was built on Výšina Hill at an elevation of 666 metres, and its entrance area is 800 metres from the fountain in the town centre. The Church of the Archangel Michael in Králíky is protected as a cultural monument.

Pilgrimage at Hora Matky Boží

The pilgrimage Way of the Cross leads from the outskirts of Králíky steeply uphill through a linden avenue to Hora Matky Boží. The avenue includes eight Baroque hexagonal chapels. The Marian pilgrimage site lies above Králíky at an altitude of 760 metres and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Diocese of Hradec Králové. The pilgrimage complex was built from 1696 onwards; the church was consecrated on 21 August 1700.

Exhibitions and Historic Sites in the Surrounding Area

Velké náměstí in Králíky is also home to the permanent Východočeský památník celnictví exhibition on the history of customs administration. It opened on 19 September 2018 and is open to the public. The wider surrounding region includes the sites classified as castles Hrad Brníčko and Trzebieszowice. The Nový Hrad site, a ruin, is also located there.

The area around Králíky includes the mountains Suchý vrch, Urwista, Vysoký Kámen and Bouda. The Králický Sněžník National Nature Reserve lies in the surrounding region, within the Pardubice and Olomouc Regions. It encompasses Králický Sněžník Mountain and a small part of the western ridge of Malý Sněžník.
