Boží hrob and the nearby rock carvings thus form an independent cultural focus alongside the church and the conservation area.

Velenický kopec is a prominent, forested basalt mountain standing 417 metres high. Its characteristic features include a rocky ridge and scree slopes overgrown with forest. The summit view is overgrown; today, Velenice can be viewed from a meadow below the edge of the forest. As part of the event, the person with the tastiest homemade product in the competition receives the title “Velenická kulinářská hvězda”.
