Byšice Castle is a Baroque four-wing complex with an enclosed courtyard and a Salla terrena in the garden wing. Originally, the castle was adjoined by an extensive park. However, its current classification must also take into account the building's condition: the castle is severely dilapidated, some parts are badly damaged, and its condition remains critical.

Another reference point in the town's history is the Church of St John the Baptist. It forms part of a Baroque complex dating from 1690 to 1693. Together with the castle, it conveys an impression of Byšice's Baroque past, without reducing the town to just one individual building.

Jewish cemetery with a long history

The Jewish Cemetery in Byšice is protected as a cultural monument and registered under number 106638. It is located on a hill in the eastern part of the municipality on Hřbitovní Street. The cemetery contains 197 identified gravestones with Hebrew, German and Czech inscriptions. The identified gravestones date from 1723 to the 1930s. The cemetery is a fixed memorial site, whereas the educational trail spreads its stops over eight kilometres through Byšice.
