Discover Vyškovec
Vyškovec combines the scattered structure of a historic Kopaničář settlement with species-rich natural areas, special cultural sites and paths through the landscape of the White Carpathians. The village was established around 1730 with houses and holiday homes scattered across the landscape. This creates a destination where observing nature, physical activity and regional history stand closely side by side.
Wet meadows, pastures and botanical features
At the northeastern edge of Vyškovec lies the 2.8-hectare Chmelinec Natural Monument. It consists of wet meadows in the valley floor of the Drietomica stream. The broad-leaved marsh orchid (Dactylorhiza majalis) is abundant there; at the edges, grazed vegetation of the Carpathian pastures from the Anthoxantho-Agrostietum association can be found. Anyone interested in plants and different landscape types will find a clearly defined natural area with wet meadows and pastureland here. Pod Hribovňou also preserves remnants of the White Carpathian pastures. Rare plants include one of the last remaining populations of yellow gentian. South of Vyškovec lies the Ve Vlčí Nature Reserve, covering an area of 21.68 hectares. The area includes dry, sun-exposed pastures, wetter depressions and shaded areas; numerous orchid species also grow there. Near Vyškovec, the landscape of Moravské Kopanice is characterized by small fields, hedgerows and orchards. The overgrowing Štefková pasture also contains an area considered interesting for botanists. A mineral-water spring is also located in the cadastral area of Vyškovec.Hiking and cycling around Vyškovec

The mountain chapel of Panny Marie Královny is the only sanctuary in the White Carpathians built on a mountain ridge. In its honor, a mass is celebrated in Vyškovec on the Sunday afternoon closest to August 22. Another special site is the monument to the American airmen, which is a pilgrimage site in Vyškovec and a frequent destination for tourists. The musical bell tower in Vyškovec starts playing automatically when a visitor arrives. Classic Kopaničář embroidery can be seen behind glass doors. The architectural heritage also includes the Statek Ve Vlčí farmstead, house no. 40. The complex, with a stable, cellar and residential building, was built in the 1880s and was declared a cultural monument on May 3, 1958.Horse riding as a separate travel activity
