Experience nature on the nature trail

Pašovice combines a diverse natural landscape with small yet remarkable cultural monuments. One particularly tangible way to discover the village is the “Po hranici devíti katastrů” nature trail. It passes through Pašovice, is approximately 9 km long, and runs mainly through easy, almost flat woodland. The route is also suitable for cycling, offering a choice between an extended walk and a more active exploration of the surrounding landscape.

The nature trail leads to the Hrabiny area above Pašovice. From there, the main road provides connections towards Uherské Hradiště and Uherský Brod. This precise route connection is interesting for orientation if you do not want to limit your stay to the village centre but also wish to include the surrounding area in your plans.

Landscape between forests, bodies of water, and protected species

Pašovice is part of the Prakšická vrchovina Nature Park. Several very rare and protected animal and plant species occur in the cadastral area of Pašovice. The cadastral area thus combines two different natural features: residents go for walks around the bodies of water, where several very rare and protected animal and plant species also occur.

Chapels and local history

The village’s cultural history can also be traced through a few clearly distinguishable buildings. The Boží muka, a niche chapel in Pašovice, was built around 1750. A niche chapel is a small form of sacred architecture in which a picture or symbol is placed in a niche. The Boží muka is first mentioned in the Pašovice chronicle, which has been maintained since 1792.

The Chapel of Saint Jan Sarkander in Pašovice, by contrast, was built in 1995. Regular religious services and church ceremonies take place there.
