The open-air museum Muzeum v přírodě Topolná comprises the two farmsteads, Nos. 90 and 93, standing on the village square in Topolná. Both are monuments of folk architecture and show the typical form of houses from Pomoraví, built from unfired bricks. This preserves not just a single building but makes the characteristic architecture of a rural environment visible.

Building No. 93 is open to the public and presents the way of living and the furnishings of a farmstead from the late 19th century. Its upper room houses exhibitions on washing and fishing. Families can combine different historical topics in a single visit here, so the local history is not limited to architecture alone. Muzeum v přírodě Topolná can be visited from April to October, Monday to Sunday, by prior appointment.

Church, Stained-Glass Windows and Living Traditions

The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is also one of the noteworthy cultural landmarks in Topolná. It contains a rare 18th-century statue of Saint Anne. Since 1999, the church has also featured stained-glass windows designed by Jan Jemelka. Both details give a visit to the church a distinctive art-historical character.

It grows in only a few places in Moravia, including Topolná, among other locations in the area around Kněžpolský les.
