Luka nad Jihlavou: Château, Museum and Cycle Path

It was constructed five years before work began on the château. The preserved Romanesque tower front is an older structural element adjoining the late Baroque church. The present church was built between 1755 and 1763 on the site of a demolished medieval church. The parish church also features a valuable stone cross created in 1848 to commemorate the abolition of compulsory labor. Compulsory labor refers to a mandated work obligation; its abolition ended this obligation.

Museum of Local and Everyday History

The Luka nad Jihlavou Museum displays authentic objects from rural life, including kitchen equipment, furniture, traditional costumes and handicraft products. The museum also regularly organizes themed exhibitions on local history and traditions.
