Mírové náměstí is home to a fountain with a Baroque statue of Saint Florian and a Doric colonnade dating from the first half of the 19th century. The Church of Saint Anne, a Baroque and Rococo religious building, also stands in the square in Verneřice. The first Church of Saint Anne in Verneřice was already mentioned as a parish church in 1384. Since 3 May 1958, the church has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The former Leitenbergova kartounka is an immovable cultural monument. It was built in 1796 as a two-storey weaving mill and formed the basis of the Leitenberg family's printing manufactory, the largest company for printing cotton fabrics. A steam engine of English origin was installed in the building in 1797. Its historical classification remains explicit: the kartounka is a former industrial building.

Another historic building is House No. 191 in Verneřice. At the latest from the period after the Second World War, it served as a horticultural nursery together with greenhouses and a boiler house. The monument value includes the combination of masonry, log construction and half-timbering. The building certainly dates from before 1843; historical cadastral maps indicate that it was originally a mill.

Bobří soutěska and Buková hora

Bobří soutěska lies about 2 km east of Verneřice and is managed by the administration of the CHKO České středohoří Protected Landscape Area. In the surrounding area, it features steep rock walls up to 30 m high, rapids, boulders and a waterfall about 6 m high. The wooded valley offers a walk and provides a habitat for rare plants and animals. The gorge thus complements the town's cultural themes with a distinctly natural dimension.

Humboldtova vyhlídka on Buková hora offers wide views across the České středohoří, the Ore Mountains and deep into the Elbe Valley. A special natural feature can be found on the southeastern slope: ice and snow remain in a crevice about 7 m deep even during the summer months. The two sites provide different focal points for your travel planning—one offers a wide panorama, the other an unusual local natural phenomenon.
