Bell Tower, the Lazinov Cross, and Viewpoint

Small structures in the village itself tell stories of different eras. The Lazinov Cross was erected in 1860, restored in 2006, and installed in 2008 on the village square in the reservoir bay. The stone bell tower has no confirmed construction date; historical sources estimate that it was built around 1832. Inside is a wooden bell-frame structure. The bell was consecrated on June 4, 1922, and has survived to this day. The bell tower was renovated in 2005.

A particularly evocative place lies above the former site of the Masákův Mill. A bench and a Vodník figure there commemorate the old mill and the flooded part of the municipality. The viewpoint offers views of the now-flooded Křetínka Valley. Together with the reservoir and the wooded slopes, this creates a visit in which the landscape and local history stand closely side by side, without the historical traces being found only in a museum.
