Řícmanice – Forest Paths, Arboretum and Horse-Riding Offers

The types of outing are clearly distinct: HVOZD combines a longer route with historical, natural-history and sporting stations, the arboretum is a separate destination in the northern forest, and the swimming pool offers separate areas for swimmers and non-swimmers. The Stezka zdraví HVOZD is an educational trail through the forests north of Řícmanice. At the stations, historical and natural-history topics are combined with sporting elements. The educational trail starts at Masarykovo náměstí in Řícmanice and forms a 5.7 km double loop. The term double loop describes two circular routes within this total length. Anyone wishing to combine a stay in the forest with informative stations and exercise will find an independent destination within the village.

The Řícmanice Arboretum is located in the forests north of Řícmanice. It can be reached by bus 210 to Řícmanice and then on foot. This means that planning a visit takes into account both its connection to the forest area and the described journey by public transport, without assuming a specific walking time.

Swimming with Separate Pool Areas

The swimming pool in Řícmanice measures 33 × 15 m. The swimming area occupies 26 × 15 m, while the non-swimming area measures 7 × 15 m. The two areas are separate and differ in size. Riding Lessons and a Riding Facility Between Two Villages

The Dětská jezdecká škola in Řícmanice has been operating since 1994. It offers riding lessons for children and young people, from complete beginners to advanced riders. Since 2012, the Dětská jezdecká škola has been located at a riding facility between Řícmanice and Bílovice nad Svitavou. The facility includes box stalls for 13 horses, a floodlit 30 × 60 m sand riding arena, a round pen and paddocks. The round pen complements the riding arena with a circular, enclosed area for working with horses.
