Šerkovice combines a distinctive natural landscape with traces of regional history. The Besének stream flows through the village from north to south, while Šerkovice is surrounded by coniferous and mixed forests on almost all sides. The Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius has stood in a corner of the former school building since 1895. Another historical connection leads to the former forester’s lodge at Paní Hora Forest. It was built by Porta Coeli Monastery in 1900 and converted into a memorial to the Jermak partisan unit between 1980 and 1990. Šerkovice is also home to the “Památník v Šerkovicích”, a memorial to the JERMAK partisan unit. A base of the Jermak partisan detachment was located in the surrounding forests.

The Statek U Kašpárků estate is also a valuable historic property with a former mill and former sawmill. The exterior has been preserved, and some parts of the original interior furnishings have survived. In Šerkovice, the Tišnovská Beer Trail passes a tourist shelter and stops at the Chapel of Saint Anne.
