Sedlo between village culture and protected landscapes

Sedlo combines rural cultural history with a protected stream and floodplain landscape. The village is home to two different chapels, as well as the Novovmlýnský burial ground and the Koštěnický Stream natural monument. Hiking and cycling complement the cultural discoveries, while castles, mountains and smaller monuments characterize the wider regional surroundings. The Chapel of St. Anne is located in Sedlo. There is also the village chapel, a large chapel with an apse beside the village pond. The Novovmlýnský burial ground is also part of the area's cultural profile. It comprises approximately 25 burial mounds, which usually have a square ground plan and ditches on three sides. The Koštěnický Stream and trails in the surrounding area

The Natura 2000 site and Koštěnický Stream natural monument includes part of the cadastral area of Sedlo u Číměře. The area contains a preserved stream and floodplain ecosystem with populations of endangered plant and animal species, particularly the Balkan goldenring (Ophiogomphus cecilia). Alongside the village's history, this places a clearly defined natural area at the center of attention, whose distinctive character can be understood through its habitats and species.

The municipality of Číměř and its local parts are used particularly for hiking. Around Sedlo, there are also trails that connect to the Prague–Vienna cycle tourism route. The Sedelský mlýn (Heumoth Mill) is also part of the village's history. It was in operation during the Second World War; operations ended on July 31, 1945. In the wider region around Sedlo, there is also Landštejn, a castle. The same wider area is home to Geyersteine, a monument; Svatý Ondřej, a church; and Kerblerkreuz, a wayside shrine.

The mountains Starohuťský vrch, Kalkberg and Větrov are located around Sedlo. Hoher Berg, also a mountain, is also situated in the wider region. The range of possible discoveries therefore extends from chapels and historic sites to natural areas and mountain landscapes.
