Radnice Castle is an early Baroque castle built before 1673; its present appearance dates from the period after 1719. Around 1745, Radnice was also home to an important Baroque building constructed at the expense of Jan Václav z Bubna a Litic, probably based on a design by Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer.

The Muzeum Josefa Hyláka was founded in 1892 as the first museum in the Rokycany District. It is housed in a bourgeois residence from the first third of the 18th century, which later became part of the castle complex. The Hylákův Circuit is 12.8 km long and starts in Radnice’s town square. The Šternberský Circuit is suitable for cyclists, is 24 km long and starts at Kašpar-Šternberk Square in Radnice. The stated distances help you distinguish a relatively short walk from a longer tour.

Historic Discoveries Beyond the Classic Attractions

The historic beer cellars of Radnice offer guided tours during the summer season from April to October; upon request, tours are also possible outside the tourism season. In the immediate vicinity of Radnice, the Ovčín site is also the subject of intensive palaeontological research. Volcanic ash buried the fossil flora there at the site of its original growth.
