Kdyně is a destination for travellers who want to discover history across several eras and themes. The Muzeum Příhraničí spans the period from prehistoric times to the present day. Its exhibitions explore the history of the region, the textile industry, agriculture and Czech-Bavarian coexistence in the border region. Museum and Preserved Architectural Heritage

The Muzeum Příhraničí is housed in a reconstructed building of former spinning mills. The site itself refers to the history of textiles, while the exhibitions broaden the focus to include agriculture and Czech-Bavarian coexistence in the border region. The period covered ranges from prehistoric times to the present day. The building’s former use thus forms a separate historical reference point for the exhibitions.

The Kdyně Synagogue was built in 1862–1863 in the Neo-Romanesque style. It has preserved its original appearance, including the interior, decorative painting, benches, women’s gallery and the ritual bath known as a mikveh. Visits are organised by prior arrangement through the Kdyně Tourist Information Centre. The Church of St Nicholas also reaches far back into history: it was founded in the second half of the 14th century. Its valuable organ from 1763 has been fully preserved in its original condition. The Centrum vodní zábavy Kdyně has a 425 m² main pool. It is divided into a 25-metre swimming pool with three lanes and a separate area with water attractions.
