For a shorter outing, the “In the Footsteps of the Greedy Bear” circular walking trail is available, with an approximate length of 4.5 km. The Jiráskova cesta is an important marked hiking route in the area around the town. Cyclists can start Route 4074 directly at the town square; it follows an uphill paved farm road toward Jamné nad Orlicí. In winter, Malák Ski Resort is located 300 m west of the center. It has two ski lifts, three ski slopes, lighting for night operations and a ski school. The ski resort brings slopes, night skiing and the ski school together in one area.
