České Petrovice: Winter Sports, Nature and History

České Petrovice is a destination where you can discover sporting activities, distinctive landscapes and Czech military history in a variety of ways. A dedicated nature and knowledge element is the Království přírodních sil educational trail. It has six stations, is approximately 700 m long and has an elevation difference of 100 m. In good snow conditions, the cross-country ski trails and routes around České Petrovice cover more than 35 km. Views and Protected Nature

Military History to Explore

The cultural highlight is the K-S 46 “V zátiší” infantry bunker. The bunker offers tours featuring reconstructed rooms, historic weapons, documents and uniforms. It was built as part of the heavy fortification line on the former border between Czechoslovakia and Germany. From České Petrovice, it can first be reached via an asphalt road and then via a dirt track.
