The guided tour also includes the historic saddlery of the Auersperg family. This room adds a specific detail from the history of the stud farm to the tour and makes the visit tangible not only through the building but also through its furnishings.

Kočičí hrádek is a miniature castle built before 1896 by Princess Vilemína z Auerspergu. It was intended to delight not only her children but also people from the wider surrounding area; it is particularly suitable for the youngest visitors. At Švýcárna, the exhibition includes a unique magnetic wall with play elements and an authentically furnished study of Professor František Bílek. Playful elements and a specific historical workspace therefore stand side by side there.

Walks in Protected Surroundings

In the vicinity of Slatiňany, the northern part of the Slavická obora game reserve is freely accessible. It remains part of a protected landscape area as well as the Slatiňansko–Slavicko Landscape Heritage Zone.
