It protects a preserved floodplain forest along an unregulated stretch of the Morava and a rich bird-breeding area. The reserve was designated on February 24, 1953; its area covers 111.2782 hectares. Zástudánčí is also considered an important resting zone for disturbance-sensitive bird species. Among others, white-tailed eagles, ospreys, black kites and goosanders can be observed there. House No. 47 completes the historic picture: it is a preserved Žudr with exterior vaulting dating, together with the house, from the 17th century.

You will also encounter distinctive evidence of the past beyond the village square. The preserved building of the Lobodice power station retains part of its original façade. This includes the inscription „Elektrárna města Kojetína“ and an archbishop’s coat of arms with the year 1704. On the road from Polkovice, a four-sided wayside shrine building known as Boží muka, dating from the mid-19th century, stands on the right. The stone cross at the crossroads to Polkovice dates from 1717.

Cycling and Fishing along the Morava

The Moravská stezka runs through Lobodice, providing a clear starting point for a cycling trip. Along this route, Route 5040 continues from the signpost in Lobodice toward Kojetín. Those who want to compare different excursion directions can incorporate the route into their own planning based on these documented landmarks, without limiting the village to a single experience.
