The history of Jezdkovice dates back to 1250. At that time, the town was first mentioned in a document under the name Jeskendorf. A central attraction is Jezdkovice Castle, which was built in the Late Renaissance style between 1618 and 1619. After the death of its first builder, it was remodeled in the Baroque style. The castle therefore represents two defining construction phases: its origins in the Late Renaissance and its later Baroque transformation.

The castle is protected as a cultural monument under the Czech registration number 25000/8-1395. Together with the castle park, it forms the historical focus of the town.
