Štítina

Štítina combines cultural history, regional events, and marked cycling routes with a location in the foothills of Nízký Jeseník. Renaissance Chapel and Medieval Traces

It is precisely this sequence—the Gothic fortress, the Renaissance manor house, and the loss of the above-ground part—that makes the history of the place unusually complex, without implying that an accessible building complex exists there today.

Remembrance Culture and Events

The monument to Private Ivan Kubince is listed among the cultural monuments. It commemorates a soldier of the 1st Czechoslovak Armored Brigade who was tortured to death on April 18, 1945, during the liberation of Štítina.
