The mill retains its original milling equipment; its working water wheel drives a turbine for generating electricity. The historic waterworks were built in 1892 to supply Nový Jičín with water. Local history is also commemorated by the wooden cross in Bernartice nad Odrou, which was erected in 1756 in memory of a severe hailstorm and most recently rebuilt by Eduard Bayer in 1968.
