The religious buildings also give the town historical depth. The Chapel of St. Gothard was built in 1880 in Neo-Romanesque style on the site of an earlier Baroque chapel. It is located in the Kamýk district on the road to Noutonice and Okoř and has been preserved in its original form. The Chapel of Our Lady dates from 1725. It is located not far from the town center, on the road to Roztoky on the left-hand side. This gives you two different historical points of reference: here, the Neo-Romanesque chapel from 1880 with its preserved original form; there, the building from 1725.

The local atmosphere also includes the historic granary of the former estate, which has been converted into a stylish restaurant. The conversion combines the former estate architecture with a present-day use and adds a culinary detail to the cultural side of Velké Přílepy.

Family Program with Scheduled Events

If you are traveling with children, the Velkopřílepské aviohrátky are a traditional autumn event for families with children. The Velké Přílepy Model-Building Club organizes them together with the municipality. This gives you a clear point of reference for planning an autumn trip with a shared family experience.

Outside the summer holidays, the Velké Přílepy cinema adds to the local program. It usually shows films once a month on a Friday. There are screenings for children at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., as well as an evening screening at 7:00 p.m. The times clearly distinguish the children's and evening screenings; at the same time, the program remains limited to the period outside the summer holidays and, as a rule, to one Friday per month.
