The present-day chateau in Hřebečníky was built in 1736 after the earlier fortress had been demolished. The chateau complex includes buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries alongside a chateau with Renaissance origins. The building history is visible in several parts of the complex: the Renaissance origins of the chateau, the buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries, and the Baroque granary represent different historical layers. In addition, Hřebečníky is home to the Chapel of the Holy Trinity, built in 1756.

Individual monuments also tell the story of the town. The oldest statue in Hřebečníky, a statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, was erected in 1757 opposite House No. 2. The Hřebečníky Rural House is a log house dating from the end of the 18th or the early 19th century and classified as a national cultural monument. In 1992, it was moved here from Vejvanov in the Rokycany District. The Hřebečníky Hunting Lodge is a rare surviving small log house with an approximately square floor plan. It probably dates from the 19th century and was probably used as shelter for hunters. The approximately square floor plan and small size give the Hunting Lodge a different architectural character from the chateau complex.

Landscape, Geology, and the Berounka

The Skryjsko-Týřovické Cambrian natural monument also extends into the cadastral area of Hřebečníky. The area includes paleontological and geological sites with Cambrian fossil fauna in the Barrandian region. The Berounka in the area of Šlovice and Týřovice also belongs to the municipality of Hřebečníky.

Designated Routes and a Mill Museum

If you would like to organize your days around different themes, two designated routes in Hřebečníky complement the historical and landscape themes: the Berounka educational paddling route and a red-marked KČT hiking trail forming part of the Svatojakubská cesta, the Way of Saint James. For day planning, each places emphasis on something different: the educational paddling route represents the river landscape, while the KČT trail is for hiking. The road connection for geographical orientation is Road II/201, which leads to Hřebečníky via Jeneč, Unhošť, and Křivoklát.

The former mill building of the Čechův mlýn Elektroskanzen houses a museum with machinery that is no longer in operation and information panels. Visits to the Čechův mlýn Elektroskanzen are possible by prior arrangement.
