The entire cadastral area of Malá Lhota belongs to the Kunštácko-nedvědický landscape area. The intended landscape quality defined for this area includes a harmonious forest landscape with the deep Svratka Valley, as well as a landscape with valuable views and horizon lines.

Bus route 313 is a documented reference point for getting there. It connects Kuřim and Lysice, serves Malá Lhota and provides a connection in Kuřim to the railway towards Brno.
