The educational trail has 12 stations with hand-painted animal-shaped stones and is open year-round. The animal stones mark individual stopping points along the route, allowing the outing to be divided into stages. Its year-round opening also keeps the trail available for different travel periods.

The children's playground in Zálezly is located in the Za školou sports complex. The sports complex has two courts for tennis, football tennis and volleyball; they are named Jenda Benda and Jarda Kudrna and can be reserved for use. Zálezly's public swimming pool served as a venue for municipal celebrations, meetings of former residents and club anniversaries.

A red-marked hiking trail also leads from Zálezly towards Věnec and Vimperk.
