A brewery on the Novák family farm

Rodinný pivovar Obora has operated on the Novák family farm in Obora, near Želeč by Tábor, since 2015. The brewery brews mainly with its own hops and malt. Tours take visitors through the brewery and hop garden and include a tasting. Tour times may vary, so confirm the arrangements with the operator before your arrival.

The seating area also contributes to the brewery’s distinctive atmosphere: paintings by local artist František Boháč and other artists shape the setting. Cycling on Route No. 12

Local planning records Cycle Route No. 12 as an existing, mapped route through Obora and Maršov to Lom. In Lom, it connects to Cycle Route No. 11; Route No. 12 is also part of the Greenway Rožmberského dědictví. The named places and the connection in Lom give the route a clear course beyond Obora.
