Lipí: Cycling Routes, Forest Landscape and Chapel

Lipí lies at the foot of the Blanský les Protected Landscape Area and is surrounded by forests and ponds. The landscape combines protected nature with an environment shaped by woodland and bodies of water. A restaurant with a summer outdoor area is located on the village square. This provides a specific place in the village for a break between excursions. Lipí also has a football pitch and a volleyball court. These two sports facilities add another opportunity for active time in the village to the natural and cultural experiences. The neo-Gothic Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes is considered Lipí’s most important landmark. It dates from 1897, stands freely at a road junction and is surrounded by mature trees. Cycling on three cycling routes

Cycling route 1082 runs from Hluboká nad Vltavou (Vondrov) via Bezdrev, Dasný, Čejkovice, Dubné, Lipí, Hradce and Vrábče to Křemže. Cycling route 1092 runs from České Budějovice via Litvínovice, Šindlovy Dvory, Mokré, Kaliště u Lipí, Lipí and Kvítkovice. Cycling route 1127 runs via Zlatá Koruna and Lipí. Together, the three routes open up different directions for a cycling tour starting in or stopping at Lipí. The places along the routes help you determine your preferred direction for an excursion: route 1082 extends to Křemže, route 1092 connects Lipí with České Budějovice, and route 1127 includes Zlatá Koruna. This allows you to compare the cycling routes according to their respective courses without treating them as the same route.
