Baroque Architecture in Sechutice

The Sechutice farmstead is a large rectangular complex. Its distinctive layout includes a dominant granary, two gates, long stable and livestock wings, and a barn with three threshing floors. This arrangement illustrates how comprehensively a historic farmstead was organized. The grounds also contain a stone memorial cross. Those interested in historic buildings will therefore find not just a single structure here, but a clearly arranged ensemble with various architectural elements.

Výrov Between Medieval Traces and More Recent Remembrance

The first written mention of Výrov dates from 1307. At the same time, the settlement was probably founded as early as around 1300. A significant chapter followed during the Thirty Years' War: after Swedish raids, a large part of Výrov was burned down in 1639. Among the visible memorial sites is a monument to the fallen in front of House No. 30. Another distinctive feature is the Chapel of St. Vojtěch. The Bučecký stream also flows through Výrov. Together with the bell tower on the road to Hadačka, the historic buildings and the cycling routes, it creates a townscape that combines history, rural architecture and activity.
