Senička between Haná and the Drahany Highlands

Senička lies below the eastern foothills of the Drahany Highlands and on the edge of the region known as Haná. The Blata stream flows along the southern edge of the village. Different landscape features therefore meet in Senička: the open regional character of Haná, the nearby foothills and a watercourse that forms part of the village landscape. Other reminders of the village’s history include the former water mill dating from 1896, considered the oldest surviving building in Senička, and the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk from 1823. The reconciliation cross in a niche chapel is listed as a protected cultural monument. It is approximately 400 to 500 years old and is considered the oldest monument in the municipality. Educational Trail and Cycling Route

Rajčur and Local Wildlife

Aquatic animals, including amphibians and waterfowl, inhabit the small water bodies.
