The Vesecké údolí nature trail around Doubí is approximately 2 km long and has seven information boards. It passes through important wetlands and introduces rare or endangered plant and animal species. Its manageable length makes the trail a clearly defined nature section, while the boards direct attention to habitats and to the animal and plant life. History and a Destination for Families

Mlýnský rybník was formerly called Teichmühle because a mill once stood at this location on the Luční potok; it has been documented since the 18th century. The wider regional surroundings of Doubí also include Valdštejn Church and the “Kaple Nejsvětější Trojice” church.

A route from the centre of Liberec to Vesecký rybník initially uses tram lines 5 or 11 and, for the return journey, bus lines 13, 24 or 26. This provides both a specific stop in Doubí and a described connection between Liberec and Vesecký rybník for orientation.
