Cetenov – Landscape, Cycling Routes and Village Culture

Cetenov combines a small-scale settlement structure with a landscape characterized by forests, meadows, and pastureland. The scattered arrangement of the settlements is connected to the character of the landscape. At the same time, Cetenov lies within the catchment area of the picturesque Zábrdka stream. This creates a destination where cycling routes, open landscapes, and village culture exist in close proximity to one another.

Cycling through a Rural Landscape

Cycling Route 3048 passes through Cetenov. Hrubý Lesnov also offers a clearly recognizable village scene. The village is a typical Old Bohemian circular village with a central village green. There is also a row of timber-framed houses there, located relatively close together from the village green in the direction of Dehtáry. The village green and the houses thus form a spatially concentrated village structure: At the center is the shared open space, from which the relatively dense row extends toward Dehtáry, while Cetenov is characterized by a smaller and scattered settlement structure.
