Cycle Route and Landscape Along the Educational Trail

For a longer cycling tour, Cycle Route 2012 runs from Vintířov via Chodov, Nová Role and Velký Rybník to Hroznětín. It is 26 kilometres long, providing a clear indication of the scale when planning a longer route. The route connects several towns and villages and is therefore suitable as a separate activity focus during a day of your stay. The Velká krušnohorská výsypka educational trail was also created west of Vintířov, leading to the spoil heap. The Velká krušnohorská výsypka is an artificial hill created through extensive brown coal mining and the subsequent restoration of the landscape. The educational trail allows visitors to experience this distinctive landscape context as a destination in its own right and complements the historical and sporting activities with a subject related to landscape development.

The Vintířov Sports Centre expands the range of options with bowling, squash, fitness and table tennis.
