For orientation in the village, the statue stands on the upper edge of Velká Jesenice, at the intersection of road II/304 and a local road.

Above Velká Jesenice, on Varta, lies the sv. Františka Serafinského Chapel. The chapel was built in 1868 in the Neo-Romanesque style and has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1995. For 2025, it is listed as freely accessible.
