The Church of Saint Bartholomew in Bakov nad Jizerou dates from the late 16th century. A Trinity Column from 1729 stands in the square. Both landmarks provide concrete points of reference in the town’s history.

On the outskirts of Bakov nad Jizerou, in the Podhradí area, lie the ruins of Zvířetice Castle and Chateau.
