Úvaly – Viaduct, History and Trails along the Výmola

Úvaly reveals several facets of a town within a compact narrative setting: railway history, Baroque sacred architecture, places of remembrance, paths along the Výmola stream and traces of a medieval fortification. Local History around the Square and Railway Station

One notable structure is the Devět kanálů railway viaduct in Úvaly. It is 135 metres long and up to 13 metres high. It follows the Výmola stream and leads back to the other end of the square in Úvaly.

The Roman Catholic Church of the Annunciation is also part of the town’s historical landmarks.
