Surviving original buildings and protected lime trees characterize the area; at the same time, the conservation area includes an elongated village square of medieval origin.

Characteristic buildings include small timber-framed farmsteads and country houses dating from the late 18th to the early 19th century. Lensedly is already mentioned in historical documents from 1357. Another distinctive feature is the red sandstone bell tower commemorating those who fell in the First World War. The second section is 2.5 kilometers long, passes through Lensedly and focuses on cultural heritage.
