Nové Strašecí can be explored through specific routes, historic sites and viewpoints. The Novostrašecko nature trail features 17 information boards and begins at Nové Strašecí railway station. It is also marked with cycle route signs. The Chapel of Saint Isidore in Nové Strašecí was built in 1711 in honour of the patron saint of farmers. The newer Jewish cemetery above Pecínov was established in the mid-19th century and has survived to the present day largely undisturbed. Muzeum Nové Strašecí hosts workshops. The chapel’s dedication makes the historical context especially concrete. At the cemetery, the focus is on its date of establishment and state of preservation, while the museum offers a different cultural perspective through its workshops.
